Two scanning technologies in one device

While some 3D scanners use a single projector for two different scanning ranges, requiring compromises in quality, Einstar Vega integrates two separate scanning technologies, each optimized for its specific task.
The high-speed mode uses a VCSEL (surface-emitting laser) infrared projector to scan large objects with high efficiency, while the HD mode uses a MEMS (electromechanical microsystems) projector to precisely scan small objects in great detail. The high-speed mode operates at a working distance of 350 to 1,500 mm and offers a wide field of view (FOV), with scanning speeds of up to 20 frames per second (FPS). HD mode, on the other hand, operates at working distances from 100 to 250 mm, with scanning speeds of up to 15 FPS.
