When do you need our service?
When do you need our service?
1
Do you head up a project or R&D department? Are you responsible for technology in your company and have limited time for product development?
2
Has your product been on the market for a long time and needs modifications, improvements or a refresh?
3
You don’t have design staff or want to implement new manufacturing technologies and need the right design?
4
Offers from large design and construction firms don’t fit your needs?
5
Do you want full control over the iterations and flow of the project?
Our solution
At CadXpert, we help design components whether it’s a modification, an adaptation to additive technologies or a full design of the final component. We have functional prototyping capabilities and work in Agile to give you maximum control over your project.
What sets us apart?
1.
3 in 1. We combine design competence, construction and production capabilities. With us you will make the design, ensure the functionality of the item and produce prototypes.
2.
3D printing technology gives us ways to create design with complex geometries and well-optimized spatial solutions.
3.
We are able to undertake the production of the elements we design.
4.
We can match the design to the production technology, end-use applications and conditions of use.
5.
We design with the knowledge of the limitations of the component manufacturing methods.
6.
We work on the basis of trends in industrial design.
7.
Our engineers work for many industries, including automotive, manufacturing and footwear.
How do we operate?
We base our work on the PDCA (plan, do, check, act) cycle and successive iterations of the project. We operate in a change management mode, which suits the specifics of R&D or early stage projects.
What does our work consist of?
We scan 3D
A 3D scan seeks to create a digital representation of a physical object, either the whole object (like a car) or a part of it (like a bumper).
A 3D scan is not yet suitable for a designer’s work because it is difficult to edit. It consists of a grid of triangles, the typical number of which is 100,000 to several million. Designers can make modifications to the scan, but it is not yet precise design work.
The scan can reflect such complex surfaces as the texture of leather or paper.
We perform reverse engineering (reverse engineering)
Based on the 3D scan, we create an accurate representation of it in a CAD model, which can be easily edited. Geometry changes, zooming in, zooming out, rounding, adding holes, rounding, etc. is available.
We will redesign
We change the geometry of the model, add holes, inscriptions, hooks, reinforcements, etc. We can also optimize the geometry according to your assumptions (e.g. by weight).
We produce
We transfer the prototype or completed design to production. Most often, we produce parts by 3D printing, but we also have access to CNC machining and injection molding.
How much can a design service cost?
We price outsourced projects individually based on the requirements, scope, expected use of the project, life cycle and complexity. We start from the completion time and hourly rate. The price also varies depending on the seniority of the cooperation and the difficulty of the project.
Our engineers
Bartłomiej Gaczorek
Bartłomiej is an industrial design designer and a product manager who combines a creative approach with knowledge of technology and manufacturing processes. He specializes in Fusion 360 and Blender 3D, and his designs are used in the automotive, industrial and medical industries.
He has more than 10 years of experience in the design industry (3D printing and CAD software), and has additionally been active in project management and manufacturing process optimization. Bartłomiej has worked on long-cycle automotive and industrial projects, implementing innovative product solutions. He was also a speaker at Autodesk University in Las Vegas in 2017. He is currently developing his expertise in project process management.
You will recognize his working style by his broad view of design and his experience in product management and implementation. He effectively implements manufacturing process improvements, Generative Design technologies, design automation and topology optimization.
Specialty: unconventional design challenges and generative design
Krzysztof Skąpski
Krzysztof has more than 9 years of experience in injection mold design. He specializes in creating precise 3D models, drawings and technical documentation. He has worked in mold and footwear companies.
In addition to designing, he created workshop documentation and verified technical data sent by customers. His experience in the area of designing advanced tools and customizing products to meet the specific needs of customers is extremely valuable for difficult projects.
Krzysztof used his reverse engineering skills to design 3D models based on scans using 3D scanning technology (KREON measuring arm) and point cloud processing using GeoMagic.
In addition, he has a track record of preparing 2D/3D design documentation, creating CAM programs for 3-axis and 5-axis machine tool machining, and analyzing design problems.
With a combination of experience in design and versatility in documentation and CAD/CAM, Christopher is a specialist who can provide customized solutions for any project.

Frequently asked questions
Still wondering? We hope this list of frequently asked questions will help answer some of your doubts.
Our offer includes comprehensive design services, including the design of complex shapes and spatial solutions, topology optimization, generative design, algorithmic design and reverse engineering. In addition, we offer prototyping and production of finished components using 3D printing technology.
We work for a variety of industries, including automotive, manufacturing, footwear, medical and many others. Our interdisciplinarity allows us to complete projects without the need for multiple subcontractors.
We use advanced CAD tools (Fusion 360, Powershape), Blender, and tools for topology optimization and generative design. We also use 3D scans and advanced reverse engineering tools, algorithmic design (Geometry nodes, Tissue) and spatial mesh fills (volumetric lattice).
We work based on an iterative Agile approach, which allows us to quickly verify project assumptions and make changes at each stage. The PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) methodology allows us to manage projects dynamically, which is especially beneficial in R&D projects and early stages of product development.
Yes, our offer is aimed at small and medium-sized companies as well as large enterprises. We also specialize in working with companies introducing new products that do not have their own design departments. We also serve individual customers.
Yes, we have carried out, among other projects, a capsule mold project, a helmet facelift for injection molding production, therapeutic headphones and a Porsche restomod. Each of these projects required a unique approach and the use of different technologies and design methods.
Working with us allows us to quickly verify design assumptions, involve the client in the design process, flexibly adapt to changes, and create products that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional. Thanks to our interdisciplinary approach, we are able to carry out projects comprehensively, without the need to involve multiple subcontractors.
Project completion time depends on the complexity of the project and the specific requirements of the client. Thanks to our Agile approach, we can react quickly to changes and adjust the project as we go along, which often reduces the time it takes to complete a project.
Yes, we offer comprehensive prototyping services that include design, production and testing of prototypes. This allows us to quickly verify design assumptions and make necessary changes before full production begins.
The cost of the project depends on its scope, complexity and the technologies used. We price each project individually to provide our clients with the most cost-effective solutions. Feel free to contact us to discuss the details and get a quote tailored to your needs.
