Formlabs Elastic 50A Resin V2 is a soft, transparent photopolymer resin with a Shore hardness of 50A, designed for 3D printing flexible silicone-like prototypes. The material features high elongation and rapid return to its original shape after deformation, making it ideal for creating parts that require bending, stretching and compression.

Prototypes: Creating elastic straps, bands or other wearables that need to be comfortable and fit the body.
Buttons: Manufacturing soft-touch buttons that require flexibility and durability.
Stretchable housings and covers: Manufacture flexible protective covers for electronic or medical devices that must withstand repeated bending and stretching.
Components for robotics: Creating robotic components that require flexibility and the ability to deform in response to external forces.
Anatomical models of soft tissues: Replication of anatomical structures, such as soft tissues, for education or planning medical procedures.
Props and models for special effects: Production of flexible film or theatrical props that need to be realistic and durable.
