Nylon 12 Glass Filled, or glass-doped nylon, is a material designed for typical industrial applications. The powder is available on Formlabs Fuse 1+ 30W SLS 3D printers. The material features the highest modulus of elasticity in the Formlabs SLS range at 2.8 GPa. Its high stiffness and heat resistance guarantees dimensional stability of parts, allowing prints to replace metal parts in some applications. The material is recommended for printing production fixtures, vehicle spare parts, as well as housings, mounts and brackets, from which stiffness and heat resistance are required.
