Ultrafuse® Support Layer is a specialized filament developed to work with Ultrafuse® metallic filaments, such as Ultrafuse® 316L and 17-4 PH. Its main function is to create a barrier between the support structures and the printed object, preventing them from joining during the sintering process.

Printing complex geometries: With Ultrafuse® Support Layer, more complex designs can be created with greater design freedom.
Improved surface quality: This filament provides excellent surface quality in supported areas, minimizing the need for additional post-sintering processing.
Reducing deformation during sintering: Ultrafuse® Support Layer helps minimize distortion of the printed object during the evaporation and sintering processes, leading to more precise and stable final parts.

Please note that Ultrafuse® Support Layer is not designed to print parts on its own, but should be used as a separation layer in double extrusion prints.
