What are the applications of the printer
and where will it serve best?

For whom?

We have noticed that often in manufacturing companies, engineers in the construction, R&D or maintenance departments need to expand low- and medium-volume production capabilities. They are looking for solutions where the speed of obtaining parts is important, but also lower cost and advanced part properties.

What demand?

The Stratasys H350 printer is the answer created specifically for industry, allowing for large-scale production. With a large working area and the ability to stack smaller parts, it enables the printing of a very large number of robust spare parts, tooling and end products. The prints, from materials such as PA12 and PA11, are characterized by very good parameters, e.g. temperature resistance up to 173 degrees C, very high chemical resistance or good mechanical properties.

In what industries?

H350 is used by industries such as manufacturing, industrial automation, appliance and electronics manufacturers, dentistry, packaging manufacturers, and orthopedics.

  • Manufacturing
  • Industrial automation
  • Automotive

Why Stratasys H350?

  • The Stratasys H350 is a model well suited to the needs of mass production. It will work well for printing a larger number of smaller parts in a single working chamber, which takes only 12 hours to print.
  • It works with modern SAF powder technology, where infrared radiation and a special liquid are used for sintering. There is no need to use support structures, which affects the smoothness of the surface.
  • With the H350, you have reliable PA11 (eco-friendly) and PA12 materials at your disposal. Even at the design stage, you are able to predict material consumption, printing time and cost.
  • The H350 produces high accuracy prints that maintain flexibility on narrow walls and hardness on thicker surfaces.

What benefits and key advantages does the printer bring?

Technical benefits:
1

Immediate transition between the design and production phases

2

Prints without support structures

3

Dimensional repeatability of 100 microns on 99.7% of the surface

4

Easy to use and short training

5

Speed of component manufacturing – high throughput

6

Remote print supervision

7

The device is built on the basis of industrial components, which allows for long-term, trouble-free operation.

8

Possibility of recovering up to 80% of unused powder

Key advantages of the Stratasys printer:

01

With SLS powder printers, printing time depends on the number and complexity of parts. With Stratasys’ patented SAF technology, each layer is printed within the same time. You gain speed and precision in one machine: a full build chamber takes about 12 hours of operation.

02

Excellent temperature control across the entire build chamber allows models to be stacked in the most optimal way to fill the chamber, including laid flat. This is very often not possible with other Powder Bed Fusion technologies – SLS, MJF.

03

The materials used in H350 are described in detail in the material sheets. Polyamide 12 (PA12), for example, has very good heat resistance and retains elasticity on narrow parts of the workpiece.

04

Are you worried about the complexity of the 3D printing process? Are you at the beginning of your journey when it comes to operating the printer and configuring print settings? The H350 is a plug&play device. You will benefit from a clear interface, short training and the intuitive GrabCAD software. You won’t have to invest extra to start production!

05

When investing money in a machine, you’d prefer to be sure that any repair will take place at an authorized service center. At CadXpert, we offer products from well-known, stable and proven 3D printing companies. We are in constant contact with the manufacturer and make repairs using authorized parts and methods.

Will I be able to train my employees after purchasing the printer?

Yes, we won’t leave you alone. Along with each printer, we offer training for employees on how to use the device.

Business benefits

What will you gain by implementing H350 in your company?

  • low- and medium-volume production at the lowest price to date
  • fast production of small parts – immediate start of production not possible in injection molding
  • Saving time and human resources in the production of components with complex geometries
  • saving storage space for spare parts
  • saving of materials in comparison to CNC machining
  • ability to accept more production orders

Is the Stratasys printer faster than cheap counterparts?

In all simulations, Stratasys H350 solutions prove to be faster than competitors in SLS or MJF technology. Print without worrying about wasted time!

3D printer comparison. Universal user guide

We know that our customers need reliable 3D printing information and printer comparisons in their purchases. When it comes to making a substantive case for a purchase, breadth and precision of insight is important.

With this in mind, we created “3D Printer Comparison. A Universal User’s Guide.”
Our guide will help you in the decision-making process. It’s a useful resource that you’ll be able to present to a board of directors or before a purchasing committee. It helps you evaluate technologies and 3D printers against a number of useful criteria.

What do I find in the guide?

  • Descriptions of the characteristics of 3D printing technology
  • Comparison of 3D printing technologies
  • Comparison of 3D printers from different manufacturers by market segment
  • Case study of 3D printer purchase

What kind of return on investment (ROI) can you expect from implementing this printer?

The H350 printer offers a favorable return
    on investment:

    • For low and medium product runs. There is no need for costly and time-consuming injection molding.
    • For parts with complex geometries. 3D printing has no technical limitations of machining. There is no need for a separate CAM design (machine operation) and the constant presence of an engineer to manufacture the part.

An example of the return on investment when producing components for the automotive industry. We show howair intake printing comparesto injection molding interms of cost and time.

    3D printing (1 part)
    12,97 PLN
    0.5 days
    Injection molding (1000 pcs.)
    52,97 PLN
    28 days

The Stratasys printer offers too low a return on investment relative to using a 3D printing service.
    What should I do?

To implement an in-house printer is to become independent of the supplies, logistics and deadlines of subcontractors. It is also worth including indirect benefits in the calculation of the investment.
